In the past few days I have basic and advanced courses in Excel and one of the most common questions that people ask me: "What is an easy way to link Excel to a shortcut?" I spent much time thinking about a non-programmatic way to do it and there is a very simple solution.

Write a macro …

Let's say for example you write a Microsoft Excel template that you need more data to import user accounts, but you want them to limitability to understand the characteristics of the cut, copy and paste to use. Okay, let me begin by testing your memory … What are the keyboard shortcuts for cut, copy and paste … I will take you from your misery if you do not know –

Clip – [Ctrl] + [X]

Copy – [Ctrl] + [C]

Subscribe – [Ctrl] + [V]

Now, these shortcuts basic simply use a macro to do this to ignore, it should be noted that the macro only links to the document as long as you choosereal choice. Let us go through the process with the short cut, cut.

The first step is to create a new spreadsheet in Microsoft Excel to open, go to the Tools menu and select Macro from the dropdown menu, then select Record New Macro …

The Record Macro dialog box will appear. In the Macro Name text, enter the text EliminateCut. Now is not that I do not have a space between the floor and cut elimination. If you have a home with an Excel programerror because in Microsoft Excel, do not allow spaces in macro names.

The second step in the box that says click Shortcut Key and type the letter X. In the store in the menu item Macros "This book should be selected. Otherwise, make sure you select the menu, or you cut all the books of future periods will not be successful. Finally, press the OK button.

Warning … Do not do anything on or inWorksheets. Stop Recording toolbar, click the stop button that looks like a stop button on a CD player and recorder macro stops.

Now if you want the text in a cell and turn off the phone using the [ENTER] key, go back and click once and you try to access. What is known is that the cell is selected, but if you click another cell and try to add value by using [Ctrl] + [V] You will notice thatcell moves, and as such shortcut [Ctrl] + [X] is disabled.

Let me stress that there are some limitations of this technique. If you actually activate the cell and select the text in the same cell, and then try [Ctrl] + [X] we find that the text will be cut, but if you use [Ctrl] + [X] on the one usually selected cell, you'll see [Ctrl ] + [X] is disabled.
